'A Poppy is not just for November'

The Poppy Appeal is running all year round but November is obviously the busiest period when the focus is on the Remembrance day parades. I work with the Royal British Legion Riders Branch raising money all year round.
This year I will also be marching, at the Cenotaph, with the Oman RAF Veterans. We will be wearing brown (sand coloured) berets so don't look out for RAF blue, on the 8 November parade.

Each year the Western Front Association deliver two In Memoriam crosses for me to put on to graves at St Catherines' church, Matson, Gloucester. Bombadier Herbert died as a result of injuries in November 1918 and Trooper Lane was killed in 1917, aged 17.

If you would like to do this on behalf of the Western Front Association, you don't have to join, subscribe or anything if you don't want to, drop them a line.
