Swings

An exhibition of photographs in the gardens of St Andrew Square reminds us of the depth of grinding poverty which blighted Scotland's major cities in the 1960s and 1970s. The slum  tenements may have gone but poverty, poor housing, homelessness, overcrowding and multiple deprivation continues to blight our poorest communities.
