Flighty Finches

More of a flutter in large.

There were a wonderful bustle of birds in the garden this morning: there were the usual goldfinches (previous blips here), great tits, and blue tits, but a family group of long-tailed tits also swooped by, and a jackdaw landed on next door's roof just after I'd put my camera away (in order to head over to the DTC for my day of maths...).

The maths training continues to be draining, but I'm now half-way through this particular module, so it's downhill from here (dy/dx < 0).
