Senior Fellowship

Earlier in the year I went through a fairly lengthy process of compiling a portfolio of evidence in support of my application for Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. The HEA is the professional body for anyone involved in learning and teaching in higher education. I was already a Fellow, but we have recently introduced a scheme at the university by which staff are supported in compiling portfolios which they can use to apply for fellowship. Since I've been involved in promoting the scheme I thought I ought to show that I was committed to it, so I went through the pilot cohort and applied for senior fellowship. I found out I'd been successful a few weeks ago but today I received my certificate.
