Mystical Monuments

Today I was lucky enough to visit Avebury in Wiltshire as part of a school trip.

The village of Avebury contains the largest prehistoric stone circle. Within the circle stands well preserved and magnificant stones each steeped in history and with a story to unfold.

A fabulous place to visit. The historical site certainly felt shrouded in mystery and left you with questions that don't necessarily have an answer.

A very lovely day and brilliant school trip which could not have been more enjoyable for the children or me:)
