Ray of Sunshine at Whitby

We drove all the way to Whitby today, it was quite a bit further than we thought and perhaps that was due to Mr. Satnav choosing all the farm tracks for us. When we arrived it absolutely poured down for about 20 minutes. We had a nap in the car and then at last it stopped so armed with our trustly umbrella we set forth.

Well it was worth the drive. We liked Whitby, the shops were interesting and we ambled about and found a coffee shop that allowed dogs and had a coffee and an enormous piece of carrot cake, to share of course.

I took loads of pictures but this one I like the best because of the transient light, my holy grail.
