Bear pit, Sheffield Botanical Gardens

The resident bear these days is big and adorable. Very accommodating to visitors.

Interesting to think that they were here for real for the entertainment of the Victorians until they got bored with them.

The whole garden and glass house was a joy to visit. A good day.
