A Quiet Night At Home

Well, perhaps not. Though you cannot tell from the photograph, football fever is in the air here. Italy are playing England in the Euro 2012 quarter-finals. The air is once again thick with the loud jeers, whoops and yelps of my neighbours as the suspense waxes. My T.V. isn't working but I have a fair idea of what's going on anyway. I have never had much interest in the sport but, for the sake of conversation, you go along with it here.

Today, voices can be heard coming from all directions; yesterday, someone was playing the sax and we'll have to wait and hear what tomorrow brings.

Goodness, you'd swear some sort of prophecy was being fulfilled with with the screeches out of them! They'd nearly frighten you into an early grave.
