Waiting to depart

Up at 6 to get ready to catch the morning flight. End of a lovely break but a bit like my 60 birthday balloons after a fortnight somewhat deflated at the prospect of leaving sunshine and warmth.

While flight reduces the time to get from A-B we still seem as a society to have not cracked checking in. We arrived 2 hours ahead of departure. 2 queues. 75 minutes later we checked in our luggage. We could have been half way home!

At least we got a seat on the (second) bus to the plane.

At least arrived home in sunny weather - but 18- 20oC cooler!
