and then blow the candle! Happy 80th birthday!

This gentleman is father of my colleague who works as a language tutor. This is the third time that her parents came to stay with the family. He said he's happy to live in Belfast and didn't feel lonely as long as he has a positive attitude towards life. He was a retired educator (head of school for decades), play writer, calligrapher and People's Representative. The granny is his wife, wearing in dark red for some atmospheric air.

I only received this invitation at a short notice without being told that it was indeed his birthday celebration - just said to be an informal gathering for an afternoon tea and karaoke singing. So I only managed to buy a box of chocolate and meant to give to her young son. What an embarrassing moment when I found the truth!

But anyway, a relaxing evening to know quite a few people. Back late... Hope you all have a good weekend!
