Balm For The Soul

A difficult couple of days with Music ill again. Old dog pacing the hardwood floor for much of two nights. Sleep impossible...with bouts of cleaning the floor and dosing with Imodium. Sore of heart and weary of soul in the morning, I sought out the state park and discovered Coreopsis blooming in a field of wild grass. I parked on the side of the road and stood in the midst until refreshed a bit.

Music to the vet today. An antibiotic shot. Probiotics to mix with his food. Which he wouldn't eat... He did eat a little rotisserie turkey. Don't really know with this amazing little dog. It feels like he's barely here at times, but then he surprises me with his happy return to health and doggy pleasure. It can be very difficult, but love can refresh as surely as Coreopsis blooming in a field of wild grass.
