Rick Wakeman at Lancaster Priory tonight...

Brilliant concert with Gordon Giltrap followed by Rick Wakeman ... seen here looking very orange and fuzzy (my fault!). He was accompanied by the Priory Choir and soloist Lizzie Weedy who has such a lovely voice. Never realised he was such a good raconteur ... and I particularly liked his medley of nursery rhyme in the style of great composers - Mozart, Ravel, Debussy, Les Dawson (!!) and Rachmaninov. Great laughs and brilliant music. Fabulous evening ...
