Clearing Progress

Cleared another chunk today - just over half the allotment is now in a usable state. Having said that it's too late in the season to plant up much.

We met the neighbour today who had given over this half - Frances. Nice lady, she helped us pinpoint a couple of things lurking toward the bottom of the allotment, such as a clutch of Jerusalem artichokes and Russian tarragon (weaker than the French stuff in flavour, but much easier to grow).

Hopefully someone will give us a hand this week coming, and attack the remaining third of the plot with a strimmer!
