Italian Adventure day 3 of 5

Today had a snowy theme, but we always managed to get through. After 4 sessions of manhandling the bikes over patches of deep snow we met some Dutch riders coming the other way. They told us the trail ahead was passable with only one tricky bit. We told them that we had managed to get through some serious patches of snow, but now we had made a path through they should be ok. We never found their tricky bit, which made us realise that we were happy dealing with much tougher terrain than they were. We ran into them the next day in a village where they asked us what we were thinking when we said it was ok. We all laughed a lot and parted friends, but it sounds like they had an epic day getting through the snow.
