Bruntsfield
Down in Edinburgh visiting family. Visited Crammond in the morning to take part in the Edinburgh Parkrun. Couldn't quite work out why there were so many runners ( > 500) until I realised it was the 6th anniversary of their inaugural race. Enjoyed the run along the prom on a cold but sunny morning. The chief found a nice tea room and we will certainly return.
Spent the afternoon with A and his family. Lynne recovering after her op but still a bit peaky.
Stopped off in Bruntsfield on the way back to our friend's flat where we are staying. It's a great area with lots of interesting shops and more coffee shops in a small area than I've ever seen. Had coffee and strudel in our favourite German bakery then an obligatory visit to the best wee book shop in Scotland. I can never leave without buying something.
