Granada seen from Alhambra
Today we awoke early, as we had planned to visit Alhambra in the city of Granada. The drive from Frigiliana to Granada took a little more than one hour. I had phoned and ordered tickets beforehand (you can't get into the grounds without a ticket), but still it took some time to collect the tickets. We were lucky, as it rained while I was standing in line, waiting for the tickets, but just as I had them in my hand, it had stopped raining. We spent about 3 hours in the gardens, enjoying the view, but our tickets didn't include a visit to the royal palace (you need to order those months in advance). It sure is a beautiful place, and probably even more so when the sun is shining :)
Afterwards we had a coffee and a cake at a nearby café/bar, before we drove back to Frigiliana. There we relaxed by the pool for a while, and in the evening we went to El Mirador Restaurant, where there was a great view over the town, but then again, you were paying quite a bit for the view.
P.S. There's an extra photo (see down to the right)
