Because of its size and shape there is little in the way of streams, burns and waterfalls in Shetland. So when we have a reasonable burn it proves to be quite a popular place for a walk. As a result there is a pathway up the left hand side of the burn. Also no doubt as a result of the nature of the waterflow this is a very good area for wild flowers in the summer.
