Stunning Glen Cannich and Glen Strathfarrar

Wow, another absolutely stunning day. We always try to get to one of the Glens in the Autumn and we travelled down two today. First we went to Glen Cannich. The temperature dropped to 0 degrees as we approached the Loch. Frost still covered the ground in the shade and mist hung to the surface.The water was like a mirror , not a ripple to be seen.
We saw two very handsome stags looking over the cliffs. A wonderful walk at the end of the road.
We went to the Cnoc Hotel for lunch and it was lovely and warm in the sun as we sat outside eating and drinking. I had West Coast Scallops and prawns with hot Chocolate fudge cake with peanut butter icecream.
It was such a lovely afternoon and still only 1 o clock so we took a drive down Glen Strathfarrar. We had nt been before and it was beautiful. The Autumn colours are really starting to show with wonderful oranges, reds and yellows. Deer were roaring on the hills and the birds singing, butterflies , bees and dragonflies were still on the wing.
