Flesh Taster

Today was one of the Food Fairs at Alcester - they hold two or three every year. This is an official of Alcester Court Leet, but I'm not sure which one. They all have titles such as "Ale tasters",  "Bread Weighers", and "Fish and Flesh Tasters". 
I took this close to a pulled pork stall - so I guess he's a "Fish and Flesh Taster".
