Reprise
This bush flowers in June and fills the garden with a wonderful perfume. Despite the fact it's been pruned back for winter, it's flowering again now. Our upside down weather.
A gardening day today. I am becoming obsessional about this garden - yes it provides me with r and r and fresh air but I think to be more comfortable putting it aside to do other things from time to time!
But today was a garden day - getting it ready to put in to bed for winter. I emptied and replanted the containers (saving the perlagoniums), planted bulbs, put out bird food (probably too early, but), decided NOt to loft agapanthus. Still a few things to do but I'm loathe to pull out the perlagoniums in the front when they are flowering so well. As long as we don't get frost.
An unexpected visitor from the south. P was bored in Wales and came up - for the night! She'll be back next week, for half term. #2 son went to the gym, watched rugby (such a shame about Wales) and then went to a wedding. I had a rubbish carry out, alone.
My feet are filthy but my garden looks tidy - it's that obsessive thing again.
