Railway line at Port la Nouvelle

The railway line up from Perpignan past Narbonne to Montpelier runs by a whole series of lagoons and nature reserves.  the view from the train is fantastic as you look at salt pans and flamingoes.

Charles Trenet wrote and composed La Mer as he commuted on this line.  It is inspiring
