Castlerigg Stone Circle

On the way home from the Lake District after 5 days of our really useful, informative photography holiday, Jan and I visited this 4000 year old stone circle. Great to visit and I am so glad I was encouraged to airbrush out unwanted people in red anoraks!! See my extra blip.(all unwanted people gone -- would that life could be so simple!!)
There was a steady flow of people visiting this ancient circle some going round slowly touching every stone! Plenty of children and dogs and so we had to pick our moments for photography!
