Here's Johnny!

I have had a pretty awful day at work today so by lunchtime I needed something to cheer me up. Each year an enormous inflatable santa is perched on top of Manchester Town Hall. I know it is a bit early for santa but I thought a great big inflatable santa might just do the trick in making me smile. I took a few photos whilst I was there and now that I have just taken a look, the first one really does remind me of the famous scene in "the shining" with Jack Nicholson!

After just doing a quick google search, this year's santa is not inflatable and looks incredibly like Zippy for those who remember Rainbow.
