Baby Cactus Flower

Just when you're afraid you'll have to venture outside in the heat for a blip, and you gather your water bottles, and put on your loose clothing, you look through your back door and out of nowhere, you see a tiny little flower blooming on your grizzly cactus.

Saved by cactus flower.

Of course, something has to go wrong. I got too close and ended up with a batch of cactus needles (twice!) in my left calf. D'oh.

Today's rain didn't materialize , again.

The meteorologists are toying with me.

I heard a rumble and there are some dark clouds in the southwest, but alas, no drops for Laurie. Now they say it's tomorrow or nothing. Oh, poo.
