Ski Lesson
It was a hectic day, a ski lesson first thing saw the twins doing brilliantly and having fun, the music playing in the dome had Mimi dancing whilst riding the Poma tow up the slope it was hilarious to watch her but he smile on her face told a story all of its own and Its so lovely to see after the upheaval of recent weeks.
The lesson over a dash to Kilmarnock for a home match against Murryfield. This was meant to be a half three face off but brought forward to one fifteen!!! The game was very tight until the final period which started out two - two, Killie not really clicking like normal, a big break away by Murryfield could have turned the game but Fraser skated hard and hit the winger, a thumping hit the the referee deemed a charge and the bold boy skated to the penalty box like a pro. I would never condone bad play but sometimes you have to take a penelty for the greater good and as he came off the ice the club head coach and his team coach both patted him on the helmet and spoke to him. He was being told it was a smart play. Mimi's mentor Kenny came to watch and was sitting with Fiona and as soon as Fraser took the penalty he immediately said "smart play by the boy" After serving his two minutes on his next shift Fraser zoomed one straight across the face of the goal a huge slap shot but just wide with the net minder well beaten.
Mimi, well she played brilliantly, maybe to show Kenny how well she is getting on but whatever she made a number of big saves to keep Killie in it and again the head coach told her she had had a brilliant shift so she was beaming. A good day for the guys!!!
