Queen of the Night

With the warmer temperatures, and a liberal dosing of Nor'West spillover rain over the last few days, our purple tulips are just starting to bloom.

These lovely flowers sit in an old copper tub that's outside our sunroom. The deep purple colour really is striking - it's no wonder their variety is called 'Queen of the Night'....
