Concrete From The Sky
On Friday they poured the foundation for the house next door. The concrete came down from the sky in a tube. The man with the red hard hat directed the tube around the foundation while the other six men watched him work.
Actually, that isn't entirely true. This was just the beginning of the pouring event and before it was all over every man out there was working extremely hard. Each man had his assignment. The man on the far right of the picture had a joystick device directing the crane from the red & white truck. The man in the orange shirt is the builder. The man with the blue hard hat was the city inspector. The two men with white hard hats were concrete spreaders (there were about 6 more off to the side). I'm not sure what the man with the red hat, blue shirt, tan shorts, and yellow shoes was doing except cheering the rest of them on. It was quite a big job and involved a lot of men and trucks. Good thing we left for the weekend to go camping.
