Sanshin in the Park

Having a wonderful BBQ in the park, the energy was so pleasant and beautiful only to be heightened when someone brought out a sanshin (the guitar like instrument you see in the picture). Normally it's a clown bringing out the guitar who simply wants attention, stroking the guitar strings randomly, talking about themselves. However, this group was passing it around and everyone was up dancing in a circle, so I joined. It was "freestyle" dancing, but the energy was raw and so beautiful.

I want to go to Okinawa, the beach will sooth my soul.
