The End of a Decade

Well, today was the end of my 30's: a mixed bag decade that had lots of low points including my husband having open-heart surgery & battling Cancer, leaving my teaching career, & yet I got married, started a business, & completed my life-long dream of writing a novel. I have high hopes for my 40's although I'm still a bit in mourning/disbelief over the whole aging issue. My husband made a clam/crab boil style dinner & those closest to me brought gifts galore & a luscious chocolate cake. I guess all I can say now is roll on 40, I'm waiting for good things from you!
