Went to the millennium woodland to check on our tree. Back in 2000 the village managed to get all sorts of grants and created a woodland. For a small sum of money you could have your own tree with a wee label with your name on. There are 187 trees. You didn't get to choose what type of tree you were given. We got an ash. That small sapling has grown to quite a size in the last 15 years. Very satisfying.
