Hazy Castle

We went on an open topped bus tour today. It was okay but we felt it was more noticeable what was missing that what was in it. And the bus stopped in Lothian Road for at least 20 minutes for no discernible reason. Engine still running of course - part of the reason we can hardly see the castle. Luckily, when some people got off we noticed you could get a Horrible Histories commentary so, after getting off for some food and drink and a heat, we went round again and had the Horrible Histories tour which was much better. Not just because it was funny but because it actually added in some history as well and didn't leave enormous gaps

We then tried to get some hot chocolate in a Royal Mile cafe which, rather oddly was closing (at 3.30 on a Saturday). So we just went home and I made some myself. Ye'll have had yer hot chocolate.
