Fire on the Mountain

We're staying at my Nayne's home while in Arizona. She lives out a bit, which is so cool. No Internet access and barely any neighbors to hear or see.

In the afternoon, a giant black cloud came over the top of us. Thunder began rumbling the windows, so we had the boys go inside. I realized that I forgot my little tripod at home, so I couldn't photograph the lightening, but I did get some on video and snapped a few shots of the amazing storm clouds.

Later, we were greeted with this gorgeous bit. It's almost like a fire upon the mountain complete with smoke (stormy clouds not lit up by the sun). My Nayne and I climbed as high as we could to try and capture the amazing sunset.
