Point and click.....

... and that's what I did 180 times.    We were stood on the bridge at Hexham watching the salmon swim upstream and then try and leap over the weir.    We did see a few manage it, but I wasn't quick enough to get a photograph.   However, when I loaded the photographs onto the computer I did get one of a salmon jumping;  you have to look very hard.

The extra is a Heron stood nearby on the rocks nearby.    We were told the salmon are a week early, so hopefully there will be an opportunity to go back and see if I can do better.
