On patrol

All day yesterday this little wagtail patrolled the scaffolding outside the upper stairs windows. He just trotted up and down. I couldn't open a window because of the scaffolding so had to take this through a grubby window.
It was a bit of a busy day for the birds. The garden was full of all sorts including a flock of fieldfares. Apparently it is the unusually early cold in Siberia that has sent them early to us.
