The fun weekend continued today when I woke to the sound of a PA system which could only mean it was time to get up and out and cheer on Bananablips, Ken and all the other brilliantly fit humans taking part in the Great Birmingham Run. I got a little bit distracted in a new favourite shop while B & K were running around South Birmingham so had to do my own great run to make it back to the finish line before Bananablips did. Quite alarming when you look more red faced and puffed out than the people who've just run 13 miles! Oops, well done to Bb and Ken, great job both. Shame I got far too excited to think to take a photo of either of them!
Then on to a nice Sunday dinner and cream cake and a chance to spend some time with my niece and nephew who have arrived for a sleepover. Looking forward to more fun tomorrow.
