Three fine trees
Back in the UK to visit family, we are staying at my Mum's and in the afternoon we went out for a breath of fresh air. Mum has now lived in this house for 50 years (I was just born) and the village is full of memories and changes. These trees are part of the memories, the local primary school is part of the changes: it has been rebuilt elsewhere and the land has become another housing project. What is heartwarming is to hear that in a recent meeting the village now has a library run by volunteers, with lots of great community ideas to get people involved.
