DAY 15 - POSER

This cow and many others like it opened my eyes today.... aside from the fact they stood and allowed me to snap away without a spook....
Heffers rarely feel safe around adults (human) especially when living on a meat farm (for good reason of course) these one's however had a better life style than me :)
The farmer has went above and beyond in caring for these beasts :)
I have never seen such a large herd running to greet a farmer...with a field full of fresh grazing and grates full of hay and buckets of feed already out; the farmer went in to scatter some more. Watching these usually "skitterish" creatures trot over and around the farmer in a way that would remind you of a bunch of dogs at dinner time, they calmy stood as he scattered around their treats and gave them a pet each, even the new calves.
I know some of the breeders are shown whilst the rest unfortunately pay the bills with their sacrafice....seeing them being cared for in such a loving way (even with the fates they have) was inspiring :) government minimum standards were ignored here and the bar was raised xxxx well done Mr Farmer who's in the extras doing his thing  xxx
