when i eventually went out for a walk it was later than i had realized. so a short wander and a quick 'snap' (old fashioned word!) of Arthur's Seat from in front of the Parliament. i quite liked the lines made by the concrete 'terrace' things and the long over grown grass with the less human-made shapes of the 'Seat' behind.

it says, in Wikipedia - John Milne's proposed etymology of Àrd-thir Suidhe meaning "place on high ground" - i have 'suidh' (pronounced sooee) in my dictionary as meaning 'to sit', i guess it fits as well.
