AUTUMN PLATE

"Mists and mellow fruitfulness" & all that...

My mother's celebration of autumn, painting with enamel ground up with almond oil on porcelain & fired to 1,100°C. She was no Leonardo but it did help to take her mind off the difficulties of life with my dear stepfather.
