St. Mary's Lighthouse

Decided to take a spur of the moment trip out to Whitley Bay and the lighthouse. It's been quite a while since I've been out here so it was nice to take a little wander, despite the less than ideal weather.

I used my tripod for the first time in ages too, trying out long exposure shots as the 'sun' went down. Quite nice results considering it was a pretty drab afternoon :-)
