Lunch!

We took the bus to Valletta this morning and had a walk round the old walled city.
The Knights Templar really knew how to build things! from walls & defences to churches
As well as going round St John's Cathedral (The decoration and paintings by Caravaggio are simply amazing) we went round Fort St Elmo and learnt about the warring history of Malta and saw the George Cross presented to the island ............ they certainly deserved it!

Lunch was salmon and lime stuffed tortellini decorated with squid ink and king prawn - Fantastic.
