Guildford Guildhall

One of the Literary Festival events I attended was at the Guildhall in Guildford. This building dates fron the Elizabethan era, possibly on the site of a previous guildhall dating back to medieval times.

This is where the Mayor and Corporation of Guildford met to regulate the commerce of the Borough, and where the various Courts of law sat.
