Sheltering in the Delta

Had a great day being tourists...
Picked up in a rusty boat, along the delta to a brick factory... strangely fascinating. Then taken to sample coconuts, YUK.... then the coconut candy factory.

Had a fab time on a bizarre moto tuk tuk which all 8 of us managed to squeeze on the back of to be driven to a restaurant in the middle of the delta. Lovely lovely Vietnamese food and then hopped right into a wee wooden boat for float up river.

Then the monsoon rain kicked in! It's ok... we're Scottish we won't melt, we claimed. They sheltered us under the coconuts until it passed.

Loved it.
