Election day....

On my walk back from the voting polls at the local elementary school tonight where we exercised our democratic right, I snapped this shot around the corner from our house. Missing are the Liberal red sign and the Green Party green sign, they were there earlier, perhaps someone hid them to discourage voting for the parties they did not want elected. Either way, tonight will be historic, if the Liberal candidate wins, he will be the first son to follow his father as Prime Minister (Trudeau) and if the incumbent is reelected it will be the first time since Sir Wilfred Laurier was elected to a 4th term (1896-1911). And in the middle of this nailbiting election the 3rd game of the baseball series for the ALCS pennant on the way to the World Series starts. I will slip off for Monday night mindful yoga and let my hubby yell at the game on TV. Ommmmmm
