treading through time..

...and the WA Museum is 'transforming'.
After 120 years of being stuffed with dusty exhibits of mammals, birds, butterflies ,dinosaurs, fluorescing minerals, time traveling through space and recently bringing this land's history ancient and recent into perspective, Junior and I headed down to the big smoke before the Perth site 'temporarily' closes for 4 YEARS!!

This staircase spiral up to a mezzanine floor of (now empty) bookcases and century old dust mites floating in sunbeams.

I do hope the staircases survive the 21st century update.
