Fiery tree

We made a rapid change of plans today so we could go to Westonbirt Arboretum before the forecast wind and rain blows all the leaves off.

The colours are superb - particularly in the old Arboretum.  A bit of mist would have been nice but I think it's as good as I have seen.

The main picture shows a rather attractive trunk silhouetted against the fiery canopy.  The extra is straight out of camera and the colours really were as vivid as that.
