On the fringe

I was out taking some photographs of the trees as I am official parish photographer for an exhibition of the history of Little Torrington in January using past and present shots - myself supplying the present shots!  It was a lovely sunny afternoon, so I grabbed the opportunity with both hands, or at least, both cameras and went outside, braving the neighbours who were most intrigued :)  This I believe is a Field Lime and was planted by the then local councillor - H how -  plus two others (one has since gone).  He purchased and planted them  for the local parish in 1986.
