The 3rd Bridge
No 1 had a University field trip to the new bridge that is being built over the river Forth.
She was very impressed ! Although said it was an 'IKEA' bridge - all the parts were built offshore and shipped in to be fitted together.
Ironic that a Scottish bridge is being built with foreign steel, especially since the closure of TATA steel in Scunthorpe, Dalzell and Clydebridge was announced today. I realise there was a cost saving with buying from overseas, but it just doesn't seem right?
