Motivational Chocolate Stop

Last weekend we took Tobes out biking to Hicks Lodge and he couldn't get started on his own. Today, Ned showed him what to do and he got it straight away. (Tobes idolises Ned ever so slightly). 

He did do a bit of complaining on the way round but overall he did really well and did most of the 8 mile loop round Carsington Water with a brief stint in the bike trailer with Eva. Only my second time on a bike in 7 years and I have to say I really enjoyed myself. 

Had an early evening walk in the woods near the cottage in the evening where Nell decided she was a bit hot and it would be a good idea to cool off by lying flat out in a boggy puddle. The woods were really hilly and all the pups had a great time hurtling about. 

Another lovely evening of eating, drinking and chatting. Having a fab weekend.
