Repair

I spent an uncomfortable couple of hours today in the cramped space of the loft, carefully avoiding putting my foot through the ceiling, while replacing a bathroom extractor fan which had died and repairing a couple of lights which were working intermittently.  New bulbs hadn't solved the lighting problem, so I thought the transformer might be faulty.  I replaced that (fortunately I had a spare in stock), but that didn't cure it.  So I replaced the actual lampholder (another item lying in one of my many boxes of "that will come in useful someday" items).  The light is now working consistently.

However I am now stiff and my knees hurt from kneeling on the joists.  I am really not as agile and flexible as I once was.
